Love where you work! This contract is comprised of a large agency wide contract supporting Enterprise Systems Engineering and Architecture across some intelligence organizations. This amazing program contains a variety of primarily senior System Engineering type roles to include all the major mission areas across capabilities and operations. The engineers and program support personnel on this contract provide needed support across the full lifecycle of systems engineering. Projects include, but are not limited to requirements analysis, dataflow, architecture, IT Engineering, SIGINT, Cyber Network Operations, and security domains.
Provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave’s information assurance program. Provide support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies. Maintains operational security posture for an information system or program to ensure information systems security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed. Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information. Performs vulnerability and risk assessment analysis to support certification and accreditation. Prepares and reviews documentation to include System Security Plans (SSP), Risk Assessment Reports, Certification and Accreditation packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices. Supports security authorization activities in compliance with customer Information System Certification and Accreditation Process (NISCAP), and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP).
Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:
Fifteen (15) years of experience are required. Experience is to include at least three (3) of the following areas: knowledge of current security tools, hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; and encryption techniques or tools. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. DoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level I or higher is required. Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
- Must have experience supporting NISCAP and DIACAP processes.
- Serve as the approval authority for Information Systems.
- Experience as an ISSM.
- Experience planning and coordinating IT Security Programs and Policies
- Knowledgeable of customer compliance and risk regulations
- Experience building SSPs
- Proven ability to complete System Certification and Accreditation
- Experience with vulnerability and risk assessment analysis, and development of security protocols
- Must have familiarization with customer infrastructure.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
