Technical Analyst Level 1 (Wireless Systems)

Development and deployment of wireless systems focusing on RF systems using Software Defined Radios, Digital Signals Processing, Protocol Analysis, and Data Flow supporting national and tactical customers.
Required Skills:
  • Project management experience.
  • Demonstrated SIGINT experience
  • Certified Scrum Master or or is willing to get an agile cert such as CSM or a SAFe certification.
Provides oversight and management for the collection support missions against one (1) (or more) of the major theaters. Provides information for the Government use in developing, defining and documenting operational, maintenance and logistical concepts leading to the development of prototypes, proofs of concepts, modeling and simulations, system requirements, Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs). Operates, demonstrates and trains current or prototype intelligence systems under test or in use in field or garrison locations. Provides direct management support to units that include each of the military services. Contributes to technical studies, analyses and evaluations of technical mission needs; and makes recommendations to support decision-makers. Conducts technical studies, analyses and evaluations to improve organizational knowledge of doctrine, organization, training, material, leadership, personnel and facilities (DOTMLPF) status and gaps. Must have an in-depth understanding of the US SIGINT System, the SIGINT Export Issues and SIGINT Systems ground and processing facilities. Must be capable of maintaining an extensive interaction/working relationship among various representatives of the Intelligence Community (e.g., military services, second and third party customers and vendors).
Capabilities Required:    
  • Performs Mission Management activities             
  • Develops collection-tasking strategies    
  • Participates in discussions with Target Office of Primary Interest (TOPIs) and customers to promote dissemination of accurate collection assessments
  • Assists customers during upgrades/installation of new systems and addition of new capabilities         
  • Performs all Mission Management duties             
  • Provides technical assistance necessary to meet collection-tasking strategies       
  • Provides technical direction and technical support for the development of training              
  • Assists customers during upgrades/installation of new systems and addition of new capabilities         
  • Conducts discussions between various TOPIs and other customers ensuring accurate collection assessments are received/shared         
  • Participates in the review and validation of collection priorities submitted by Analysis and Production
  • Supports technical development of junior personnel in the area of SIGINT analytical tradecraft           
Domain Area(s) Specialized Requirements:
SIGINT: Four years of SIGINT related experience either military or government related in analysis or SIGINT operations.
Other: The qualified candidate will have relevant work experience and expertise in at least two (2) of the following: (1) Formal training on and a working knowledge of Linux (2) SIGINT Metadata analysis (DNR) (3) Digital Network Intelligence (DNI) (4) Geo-Spatial Metadata Analysis (GMA) (5) NGW Metadata Analysis and Correlation (6) Hands-on experience with RF collection and or geolocation/direction finding equipment

  • Candidates shall have any combination of seven (7) years of military and/or government professional experience supporting a cryptologic mission.
  • MUST have a TS/SCI wit Polygraph Clearance      
  • Professional experience may include mission support as a military or government language or signals analyst as it relates to acquiring, identifying, processing and reporting on electromagnetic emissions.              
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Tactical military experience as a SIGINT analyst is preferred.
